“Around the end of February/early March 2012, tens of thousands of sites powered by WordPress were compromised. How this happened is unclear. The main theories are that bloggers were using vulnerable versions of WordPress or they had installed the ToolsPack plugin. Websense put the number of affected sites at 30,000 , while other companies say the figure could be as high as 100,000. Approximately 85% of the compromised blogs are located in the US.”

“Tap-to-click I deplore the click on Macbook touchpads, so tap-to-click is a must for me. When you turn tap-to-click on, the synaptics driver also has a “TapAndDragGesture” setting turned on by default. This setting allows you to click-drag by doing a double-tap, then moving the mouse. With this setting enabled, I was often getting in situations where I would get mistakenly stuck in the click-drag gesture and drag windows all over the screen. I don’t click-drag very often, so I disabled this setting.”

If you take IE, or Firefox, or Konqueror, or Nautilus, or Thunar, or any other app which is known to be multi-tasked often, you can’t really tell the difference between creating a new window and creating a new tab. Both serve the same purpose and do almost the same thing. (okay, windows can group tabs, but windows are also grouped by work-spaces (free desktops took up workspaces much earlier than Apple), so you don’t need to group tabs in the first place).
